Today was a picture perfect day for cruising. It was sunny all day with calm seas and great for sunning. Deedee and Jane even went swimming on deck. As for exciting things to report, not a whole lot to say in that department.
Throughout the trip Linda and Deedee have been promising a surprise for Jane that they brought onboard and today was the day. This afternoon they brought out three kites that they bought in China. Each kite was actually a series of about 20 kites attached in a long string. The picture below shows our very brief attempt at flying one from out balcony off the back of the ship. As you can see it didn’t go as planned. But we do get an A+ for trying.
We are getting closer to Brazil and should be in port early Friday morning. We are getting excited.
