Day 17 – Sea Day

Drink of the Day – Creole Connection

There is really not much to report for our 17th day. We woke up to very rough seas and rain which lasted all day long. It was a good thing since it gave us time to work on the blog entries for Brazil and also watch the inauguration.
As we mentioned the seas were rough and everyone looked like they had a few too many drinks when they were walking. In the evening the captain, Captain Jonny, had a reception for the passengers on the promenade. He mentioned the seas and said that the ship was only “kissing the seas, but when we go around the Cape the ship would be making love to the sea.” Sounds like we may need our Bonine.

Tomorrow is another sea day before we reach Montevideo, Uruguay.

  1. Sounds like you 3 had better get look for seat belt as you round the Cape. At least you have some time for prep. Also it seems appropriate that the Captains name is "Jonny". Not much new here except the new Pres., Blago still going to trial, stock market in the dumper and the weather is still crappy. Have a couple "Creole" for the rest of us.
