Day 5 - St. Maarten

Drink of the Day - Orient Bay

Here we are sitting in a cyber cafe off one of the back alleys of Philipsburg, St. Maarten letting the plastic cool off after some serious scanning exercises. We did find some good deals and opened Pandora's box to let the beads flow freely. You will have to guess who spent the most. All she says is, "Thanks Mom."

We did have a chance to read all the comments that our "friends" left. We really enjoyed them and are looking forward to hearing from others when we get another opportunity to get online for more than a couple minutes.. (Did you read this Phil, Joe, Erin, HSS, ...?).
We considered dropping in at the rectory but weren't quite sure about the office hours.

We will be heading back to the ship to lounge in our new colorful caftans during cocktail hour. We did skip the nude beach because we were afraid our whiteness would possibly blind someone not wearing UV protective sunglasses.

Part two - Day 5

A monkey met us at bedtime.

  2. I like the running commentary so far and looks like you 3 are having a fun time so far. Perhaps the beach thing could follow as you become more in tune with the tan. How is the "captain" holding our DD? All is well here - just cold.

  5. Sounds like you're having a blast. Connor saw the blog pg and when told you were on a 40+ day cruise promptly replied " that's mean. We only got to go for 7 days no fair". So even the 4 yr old is jealous. Keep us posted as it is still snowing here

  9. Ladies,
I think the sunburn might be coming from the glare of all that "bling" you are buying... wish it was me.. stay warm you don't want to be back home just now, 8" of snow coming
