Day 3 - Sea Day

Drink of the Day – Help Me, Rhonda

A beautiful, yet windy day at sea. With clear skies and temperatures in the low 80’s it was perfect for sunning. The wind at 15 mph plus the ship speed of 15 mph directly into the wind meant that we were fighting 30 mph winds on deck. It did make it difficult to read since the pages kept turning on their own and our flip-flops kept blowing away. Please don’t feel sorry for us, we truly are dealing with the slight inconvenience.

Last night, after we posted, we saw Matthew and Gunner Nelson, sons of the late Ricky Nelson, perform a salute to their father. They played many of Ricky’s songs while showing videos of his life. We truly enjoyed it. Tonight we see “Headliner Showtime” with El Gaucho”. His picture is a little scary but we heard he was good.

More tomorrow.
